Green Flag joins Hidden Disabilities Sunflower

By Hidden Disabilities Sunflower News & media Share

We're delighted to announce that Green Flag, who operates a smart network of rescue specialists to help get you moving again, has joined Hidden Disabilities Sunflower. We have been working with National Highways so the Sunflower is here for drivers.

If Green Flag, or any other roadside service, see the Sunflower, they’ll do what we can to help keep you safe and supported while we get your vehicle fixed.

Damon Jowett, Green Flag's Head of Service Delivery, explains:

“By displaying the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower on vehicles, it will mean our recovery network are made aware that there are potential additional needs and support required for the drivers and passengers we attend to.

“This will really help us ensure we provide the best level of service possible and can meet the requirements of all our customers.”

How the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower will help road users

The Sunflower lets others know that they may need some extra help, support, or even just a bit more time in certain situations. By putting the Sunflower sticker or magnet on the back of your vehicle, you’re able to let emergency, breakdown and other roadside services know that you have a disability. When someone’s in a vehicle, every disability is hidden, so the vehicle Sunflower is here for everyone that needs it.

Importantly, there are no ‘qualifying requirements’ for the Sunflower. If you want to use one on your vehicle, you can. It’s here to help everyone that needs it.

You can get your Hidden Disabilities Sunflower sticker or magnet here.

Alongside the magnet and sticker, you’re also able to get Sunflower seatbelt covers as well as other Sunflower items including lanyards and pin badges.
