Whether your non-visible disability is sight loss, not being able to stand for long periods or needing urgent access to toilet facilities, you can discreetly highlight the support you might need.
Make it personal — your way
In response to feedback from our Sunflower wearers about producing a wider variety of cards for specific non-visible disabilities and the type of support that is needed for each one, Sunflower wearers can add this information on the back of personalised Sunflower cards. Or from 19 March, you can choose our new Sunflower Extra with a digital feature.
The original Sunflower personalised card
A physical card that you personalise by adding:
- Your photo - upload a high-resolution, clear photograph of yourself
- Your name - add the name that you want people to use when addressing you
- Details of the type of help you need - use the generic description on the condition-specific cards or add your own on our plain Sunflower card
- Sunflower icons - Use one of our Sunflower icons to provide a quick visual cue about the type of support you need
- A contact - add a name and number to be contacted with your consent or in an emergency
