Our Sunflower training session is structured so that a Sunflower team member can present the Sunflower training and empower participants to apply their enhanced knowledge in everyday roles.

  • The session starts with an update from the Sunflower
  • The core Sunflower training video emphasises the "rule of six" — six fundamental concepts vital for understanding and supporting individuals with non-visible disabilities.
  • Clear differentiation is made between Sunflower wearers and allies. 
  • Insight is given to the breadth and complexity of non-visible disabilities
  • Education and understanding are emphasised to nurture a society where everyone feels recognised and supported.

At the end of the session, we allocate time for a Q&A segment, encouraging you to ask questions and discuss real-world scenarios you may encounter.
