On our recent trip from MN USA to Bilboa Spain with a connection in Amsterdam my daughter wore her Sunglower lanyard. Departing from Mn we utilized the TSA cares program which takes planning 72 hours prior to departure to register and then they will help walk us through security. It's great and helps start the trip with less stress. We did not know what to expect once in Europe. But every interaction at the airport was seamless. As soon as the agents saw her lanyard we were ushered to shorter lanes  that allowed us to take our time. I was shocked when going through passport control that they also recognized the lanyard and allowed us to go through the fast lanes. We started referring to her sunflower lanyard as her magical lanyard. It provided insurance that we would be seen and taken care of. People's response to lanyard made us smile and feel safe. They would literally rush to help us to make sure we got out of the crazy lines and headed to the less stressful areas. Thexsunflowr lanyard is truly a gift. My daughter is proud to wear it.

My son wore a sunflower lanyard on his trip to Cozumel, Mexico with his grandparents—and it made such a difference for him. It was his very first time flying, which came with a lot of unknowns and big emotions.
The lanyard gave him a quiet kind of strength. It helped him feel understood without needing to find the words, and it opened the door to kindness and patience from those around him. You could see his confidence grow as the journey went on—he felt safer, calmer, and more capable navigating everything that came his way.
What could have been overwhelming became empowering. That little lanyard helped turn his first flight into a positive, confidence-building experience he’ll carry with him.

The moment I stepped into Sydney Airport and someone came towards me with a big smile and said, "let me help you". That support continued right up to when I disembarked at the other end and they saw I was being met. The sunflower made all the difference.

For me, the sunflower is a stmbol of happiness is a symbol of hope, happiness and quiet strength. It reminds me to lift myself and others up, especially in uncertain moments. My sunflower moment is choosing empathy and curiosity, accepting people as they are and knowing there’s always more to learn. The sunflower encourages me to keep growing, keep listening, and keep turning toward the light. It's a symbol I'm proud to be associated with.
