Our webinars are designed to raise awareness and provide insights on creating safe, supportive, and accessible environments for individuals with non-visible disabilities, conditions, and chronic illnesses.

Depending on your Membership, we offer exclusive refresher training webinars hosted by the Sunflower for your company, group webinars for all Professional and Corporate Sunflower Members and a selection of on-demand group webinars.

Non-visible disabilities

Each webinar in this series will delve into four specific non-visible disabilities. The first webinar highlights stammering, ADHD, acquired brain injury and dementia. Find out how you can support customers and colleagues living with these conditions and explore adjustments that you can make in your workplace

Communications

This series will focus on communication, from active listening, inclusive language, ableism and adapting communication styles to meet diverse needs. In the first webinar of the series, discover the importance of using disability-inclusive language.

Accessibility

This series aims to explore accessibility. Each webinar will cover critical topics such as creating accessible environments, understanding legal obligations, and implementing assistive technologies. The first webinar explores the crucial role of design in creating inclusive spaces.


What webinars are available for each type of Sunflower Member?

Understanding the different membership tiers and their benefits can help you maximize your access to webinars.

Corporate Members

Corporate Members enjoy access to an annual exclusive live refresher training webinar for their company and three group webinars (live and on-demand), giving them a distinct advantage. This Membership is perfect for businesses that want to ensure their team stays well-informed and confident about supporting individuals with non-visible disabilities.

Professional Members

Professional Members enjoy access to drop-in group live refresher training, which is open to other Corporate and Professional Sunflower Members. They can also purchase access to an exclusive live refresher training webinar for their company and group webinars (live and on-demand).

Charity and Standard Sunflower Members

While Standard members do not get free webinars, they can purchase access here. This flexibility allows them to decide which webinar they want to invest in.


How do you access your webinars?

You must log in to your account to book and access webinars. Here's how.

  2. Choose and select the webinar to open the booking page
  3. Book by clicking on the yellow booking button

On-demand webinars:

These pre-recorded sessions are available anytime in your account here. You can view them when it suits you.

The refresher training webinars are intentionally not recorded to ensure the confidentiality of their content and encourage live engagement. This also creates a secure space for the company to address company-specific matters. In addition to these webinars, your company will have continuous access to the Sunflower training videos throughout your membership period.

Can I invite my colleagues to the webinars?

Yes, you can invite your colleagues to participate in the webinars. Encouraging your team to join these sessions can foster a collaborative learning environment, enabling shared knowledge and promoting team cohesion. Sharing this learning opportunity with your colleagues can enhance collective understanding and provide a platform for discussing insights gained from the training.

Please note that only colleagues within your company are allowed to attend these webinars. Third parties are not permitted to participate. This rule ensures that all participants have the required permissions and access, which helps maintain the confidentiality and integrity of Sunflower materials. Inviting people outside your organisation to attend a webinar without permission will violate the terms of service.

Why is the refresher training webinar not recorded?

The refresher training webinars are intentionally not recorded to ensure the confidentiality of their content and encourage live engagement. What if I miss a webinar?

You can access recordings of the group webinars, except the group and exclusive refresher training webinars, in your online Sunflower account.

Can I record a webinar?

No, recording a webinar is not allowed. Webinars are intended for live participation and interaction with the presenter and other attendees. Recording a webinar without permission may violate copyright laws and the terms of service. Recordings of the group webinars are available to you in your online Sunflower account.
