Santander UK becomes Sunflower-Friendly
Santander UK became a member of the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower in 2025. Training and awareness materials relating to the Sunflower were shared with colleagues across all branches in the UK to ensure they could recognise and support Sunflower wearers who visit their branches.
Santander knows that more than 20% of the UK population has a disability. This will include millions of customers. They aim to be the best bank they can be for people with all types of disabilities.
Dorothy Liviabella, Head of Vulnerable Customer Strategy, Santander UK
“Santander UK is a proud member and promoter of the Sunflower. Supporting the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower is another pillar in our commitment to building and maintaining an inclusive, accessible bank for all. We care deeply about supporting and empowering all of our customers.”
Paul White, CEO, Hidden Disabilities Sunflower, said:
"Santander serves millions of customers every year, and affirming its commitment to the Sunflower with continuous training to recognise and support its customers demonstrates the importance of disability inclusion so that every customer has access to financial services."
