Rambert Dance in Peaky Blinders Audio Described

Opening in the trenches of Flanders, a personal story unfolds in post-war industrial Birmingham as the Shelby family navigate the decisions that determine their fate and Tommy is intoxicated by a mysterious newcomer, Grace.

Written and adapted for the stage by Peaky Blinders’ creator Steven Knight, with choreography and direction from Rambert’s Artistic Director Benoit Swan Pouffer, this captivating show matches dazzling, athletic dance and stunning dramatisation from the full Rambert company with a live band, specially commissioned music by Roman GianArthur and iconic Peaky tracks from Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, Radiohead, Anna Calvi, The Last Shadow Puppets, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. 

For the 14:30 performance on the 25th March 2023 it is audio described. In our cloakroom next to Siop we have hearing loops and supporting headphones for you to use during the performance. Staff will be able to demonstrate how to use the device and be able to answer any additional questions you may have.

In addition to the performance being audio described, Rambert are providing a free touch tour, one hour before the performance,  which is at no additional cost! You can book tickets via the website or through calling our ticketing line where they will be able to help. You would be greeted at our Siop and then guided by WMC volunteers and technical staff who will take you to the touch tour.
