The Hilton London Kensington is the first Hilton in the UK to join the global Hidden Disabilities Sunflower network. Welcoming guests from around the world, whether for a business trip or pleasure, to take in the sights and sounds of London, the staff have taken training to recognise and support people with non-visible disabilities. Inclusion is important to Hilton and ensuring that staff and visitors who have invisible disabilities are supported is important to them.
The Sunflower is universally known and easily identifiable. It removes the language barrier for acknowledgement, support, patience, understanding and kindness.
Sunflower lanyards are available for guests to pick up at the Concierge desk. The team at Hilton will wear the I support badges or the green Sunflower lanyards if they have a hidden disability and wish to wear one.
