Haven joins the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower to support people with non-visible disabilities
Haven is proud to have officially joined the global Hidden Disabilities Sunflower network, helping create an even more welcoming and inclusive experience for guests, owners, and the Team.
The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower is a globally recognised symbol that helps make the invisible visible. By choosing to wear the Sunflower, someone can discreetly indicate that they have a non-visible disability or condition and may need a little extra time, patience, understanding or support. For Haven, joining the Sunflower is another important step in our commitment to making sure everyone feels welcome and supported when they're with us.
The Sunflower can be worn as a lanyard or badge, with non-visible disabilities and conditions including autism, chronic pain, dementia, anxiety and sensory differences, amongst many others.

Haven has committed to training more than 80% of its on-park team to recognise the Sunflower and better understand non-visible disabilities. Our park team will be able to recognise that some guests may need a little extra time, patience, or support during their visit and will simply ask, "How can I help you?" to any guest wearing the Sunflower.
It's one of the ways we're continuing to make Haven holidays more accessible and inclusive, helping every guest feel welcome, understood and able to enjoy their time with us in the way that's right for them.
