1. Create a business account
By creating a Sunflower business account, you can purchase a Sunflower Membership to easily access all the features and benefits of being a Member. This includes promoting your brand, products or services to our diverse community of Sunflower wearers.
2. Choose and purchase a Sunflower membership
Choose a Sunflower Membership that works best for your business today.
3. Take the Sunflower pledge
The first step in becoming a Sunflower-friendly member is completing the pledge. Creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for people with non-visible disabilities takes time and ongoing effort. The pledge outlines three goals for you to work towards:
- Train your workforce: We encourage you to train 80% of your colleagues using our Sunflower training videos before launching as a Sunflower-friendly company. Our training provides education on the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower and non-visible disabilities, offering guidance on approaching individuals wearing the Sunflower. Find out more about the training
4. Schedule an onboarding call with our dedicated support team
For Professional and Corporate Sunflower Members only: Once you’ve joined as a Sunflower Member, we invite you to book an exclusive onboarding call with our Sunflower team. This session is designed to help you get familiar with the platform, explore its features, and address any questions about using Sunflower for your business.
During the call, we’ll walk you through getting started, introduce you to Sunflower's training process, highlight the additional benefits included in your membership and showcase our product range. These sessions ensure a smooth, effective launch and help embed Sunflower seamlessly into your business.
If you don’t have a Corporate or Professional membership, you can access our online guide when you log in to your Sunflower Business account.
5. Choose and purchase Sunflower wearer and Ally products
It's important to remember to order Sunflower lanyards and ID cards before your launch so that you can provide them to your customers or colleagues with non-visible disabilities
Our Ally or Supporter range is designed to help Sunflower wearers quickly identify who has undergone the Sunflower training and can support them. By wearing these items, your team can show their commitment to inclusivity, creating a more supportive environment for everyone who works in or visits your business.
6. Launch your business as Sunflower-friendly
Once you have completed these steps, it's time to launch your business as Sunflower-friendly. You can access a suite of marketing materials created to support your Sunflower launch campaign.
