Hidden Disabilities Sunflower is delighted to announce the official launch of the Sunflower in Poland, in partnership with Fundacja Autistic Adults on Tour, a Polish foundation dedicated to improving the quality of life and social inclusion of autistic adults through advocacy, education, and community initiatives. .

The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower is a globally recognised symbol for individuals with non-visible disabilities, allowing them to discreetly indicate they may need additional support, understanding, or simply a little more time. This simple yet powerful tool is now expanding its reach to Poland, empowering individuals with non-visible disabilities to navigate public spaces and services with greater confidence and dignity.

This launch marks an important step forward in raising awareness and promoting inclusivity in Poland. By partnering with Fundacja Autistic Adults on Tour, the Sunflower program will benefit from the organisation’s deep knowledge, advocacy, and grassroots community connections to support the adoption of the Sunflower across various sectors, including transportation, retail, healthcare, and tourism.

Ewa Senderacki, CEO of Fundacja Autistic Adults on Tour

"We are excited to introduce the Sunflower to Poland. This initiative will make a real difference in the daily lives of people with non-visible disabilities. Our partnership with the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower is a powerful step towards greater acceptance, understanding, and inclusion in Polish society."

Chopin Airport, Kraków AirportModlin Airport and Hilton Warsaw City have already joined the Sunflower program, making travel more accessible and inclusive for people with non-visible disabilities in Poland.

On March 13, selected buildings in various regional cities will be illuminated in yellow and green or will display a Sunflower graphic on a green background, symbolising support for people with non-visible disabilities and raising awareness across Poland.

Paul White, CEO of Hidden Disabilities Sunflower, said:

"We are thrilled to be partnering with Fundacja Autistic Adults on Tour as we bring the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower to Poland. Their dedication to improving the lives of autistic adults and their broader advocacy for hidden disabilities align perfectly with our mission to create a more inclusive society."
