We have two new organisations joining the Sunflower in Ireland! The first is Boston Scientific, who are based in Cork with two additional sites in Clonmel and Galway. Boston Scientific employ over 8,000 people across the three locations in Ireland and over 50,000 people around the world. Boston Scientific’s LEAD team are based in Cork. LEAD is an acronym for Leadership, Education and Allies for Disabilities, and currently the team have arranged for the Sunflower to be introduced at a further 11 Boston Scientific locations around the world.
The second is Irish Citylink Coaches who are the first long distance coach operator in Ireland to recognise the Sunflower. Irish Citylink have a fleet of 33 coaches and operate frequent, fast, reliable coach services between Galway, Clifden, Loughrea, Ballinasloe, Athlone, Limerick, Cork, Cork Airport, Dublin and Dublin Airport.
