The ACC Liverpool Group proudly announces that it is officially a Sunflower-Friendly Business.
As one of the UK's leading event venues, home to ACC Liverpool Exhibition Centre, Liverpool and the M&S Bank Arena, it welcomes millions of visitors each year for conferences, entertainment, exhibitions and world-class live experiences. Ensuring that every person who walks through its doors feels comfortable, supported and valued is at the heart of what they do.
The team has completed training to recognise and support individuals with non-visible disabilities, helping create a space where everyone feels understood and included. Joining the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower initiative is an important step in strengthening ACC Liverpool’s commitment to accessibility and wellbeing.
Tracey Jackson, Director of People, said:
“Becoming a Sunflower Friendly Business was an important step for us. It reflects our values of Respect, Collaboration, Enjoyment, Honesty and Growth, and demonstrates our commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all employees, customers and visitors.”
To help make navigating the venue easier, employees, visitors, and customers who wish to discreetly indicate that they may need additional time, support, or understanding can request a Sunflower lanyard. Lanyards can be collected directly from the Guest Relations Team, who are always happy to support.
