Raising awareness of Epilepsy

Epilepsy affects more than 50 million people worldwide and is often non-apparent. Because of this, the realities of living with epilepsy can be misunderstood or overlooked in everyday life, from workplaces and public spaces to travel and customer interactions.

At the Sunflower, we’re proud to stand alongside the epilepsy community and the organizations working to improve awareness, compassion, and understanding.

Learn more about epilepsy

World Epilepsy Day takes place each year on 9 February, and while that day plays an important role in raising global awareness, our commitment to supporting people with epilepsy goes beyond a single date.

Want to raise awareness across your business? We’ve created an Epilepsy invisible disabilities index entry to explain the condition, highlight the lived experience of epilepsy, and provide guidance on how to offer understanding and support.
