We're thrilled to announce that the beloved City of Onkaparinga Christmas Pageant will dazzle the streets of Christies Beach on Sunday 23 November. Followed by Christmas in the Park in Rotary Park on the corner of the Esplanade and Beach Road. Don't miss this magical event, mark your calendars for a festive day to remember! Searching for a sensory break? This year we are collaborating with local businesses to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for all attendees. Participating businesses are opening their doors to offer: a welcoming space for those who may need a quiet moment to regulate before returning to the pageant a sensory station or fidget area to support self-regulation a point of contact for basic information such as directions or bathroom location This initiative helps create a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment for individuals and families who benefit from having a quiet, safe space during the festivities. This thoughtful initiative has made the event more inclusive and enjoyable for everyone involved. To ensure everyone in our community feels welcome at the 2025 City of Onkaparinga Christmas Pageant, we’re pleased to offer a dedicated accessible viewing area for those using wheelchairs or mobility scooters. This area will be located roadside, near the beach at the Beach Road and Taunton Road car park. A dedicated drop-off zone and limited accessible parking will also be available in this car park. Bookings are not required however, we kindly ask all pageant attendees to be respectful and leave this space available for those who genuinely need it.
