About this experience

The Melbourne Cricket Club, as ground managers of the Melbourne Cricket Ground, is committed to delivering events and experiences where everyone feels safe, welcome and included. Whilst significant efforts have been made to improve accessibility at the MCG, the MCC acknowledges that stadiums can be challenging places for patrons with accessibility needs. To eliminate some of the anxiety and unpredictability associated with a visit to the MCG, the MCC is very excited to be hosting its next Accessibility Familiarisation Day on November 9, 2025. On this day, AC/DC | POWER UP Tour ticketholders with both hidden and physical disabilities will have the opportunity to join an accessibility tour and experience all aspects of the patron’s journey without the pressure and stimulation of a crowded event day. The free accessibility tour will include experiencing the MCG’s ‘G Train mobility shuttle service, security checks and ticket scanning, meeting MCG staff, as well as a visit to the attendee’s reserved seating location* and the nearest accessible facilities. It is anticipated that attendees will end the tour feeling confident with their venue knowledge and reassured that they’ll be supported when they attend their next event at the MCG. *There will be no flooring nor staging on the arena on this day. Patrons with general admission (floor) tickets will be shown how to access the arena but won’t be able to go beyond the arena boundary. Note: This event is currently only available to persons with accessibility needs (and their companions) who have purchased tickets to the AC/DC | POWER UP Tour at the MCG. If you are interested in future Accessibility Familiarisation Days for the AFL and cricket, please email contactus@mcc.org.au This event has a limited capacity. Once reached, no further tickets will be released. Free parking will be provided for this event in Yarra Park from 9:30am - 2:15pm. Entry is via Gate 3 on Wellington Pde South. There is no need to pre-book parking.
