Queensland Art Gallery Introduces the Hidden Disability Sunflower Program
We’re excited to annouce that the Queensland Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA) has officially launched the Hidden Disability Sunflower Program, designed to ensure that all visitors can enjoy a safe and supportive experience.
With the Hidden Disability Sunflower Program, visitors with hidden disabilities can easily signal their need for additional support by wearing a sunflower lanyard or pin. QAGOMA’s staff have been trained to offer extra assistance, whether that means providing more time, a quiet space, access to a seat, or simply a bit of extra understanding throughout your visit.
Sunflower lanyards and pins are available free of charge and can be picked up at the information desks.

Thank you, QAGOMA, for your unwavering commitment to making art accessible to everyone!
