We’re excited to welcome Macquarie Centre as a proud member of the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program, joining a network of shopping centres, airports, tourism and transport providers that recognise Sunflower items and support those with hidden disabilities.
Macquarie Centre staff have been trained to identify the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower, gain a deeper understanding of hidden disabilities, and learn how to approach and support customers. Trained team members wear ‘Sunflower Supporter’ pins to identify themselves to customers, ensuring that assistance is readily available when needed.
By choosing to wear a Hidden Disabilities Sunflower lanyard, badge, or wristband, it subtly signals to their Concierge, Security, and Centre team that you have a non-visible disability and might need a helping hand, a bit of understanding, or simply some more time during your visit.
You can collect your lanyard from the Concierge Desk on Level 3.
